Prep The Garden

Before you start, thoroughly water any plants or lawn near the area you are treating. This protects them from any accidental drift.

Set Up Your Spray

Attach your garden hose to the Reach Nozzle. The "OFF" setting is clearly marked. Turn the dial to "WATER" to check your connection, then turn to "ON" to start mixing the formula.

Coat The Surface

Apply the product to a dry surface until it is thoroughly saturated. Fan Setting: Best for wide, flat areas like driveways, decks, and tennis courts. Jet Setting: Best for high spots like roofs, eaves, or second-storey cladding.

Let Nature Work

Once you have finished, simply leave it! The wind and rain will work with the formula to clean the surface over time. Important: Don't forget to give your plants one last watering to rinse off any overspray.

A Helpful Tip From Our Experts

We call it "Rapid" Application because it is incredibly fast to apply (10 minutes vs. 5 hours with a standard sprayer). However, the results take time! This is a slow-acting formula that works with the wind and rain to gently clean the surface over weeks and months. Be patient, all good things take time! Rapid Results will last, and one application is enough to work really hard for you for an entire year.

Precautions

You must water nearby plants thoroughly before applying (to create a barrier) and after applying (to rinse away any overspray).
If you are on tank water, disconnect the water supply to your tank for at least one rainfall or flush the guttering before reconnecting.
While it is safe for almost all outdoor surfaces, if you have new concrete or pavers, check that they are fully cured before application.

We are long term users of Wet and Forget around our lifestyle property. One of the main jobs is keeping our 6000 sq ft steel shed free of moss, algae, and lichen. For some years we used the original Wet and Forget in a spray pack, with husband on the roof spraying, and me on the ground pumping the mix up to him through the 30ft extension. Several times divorce was close. Then I discovered the Rapid Spray version. What used to take us a good few hours and two people, was reduced to one person, a hose and a ladder, and probably around 2 hours total - much of the time spent moving the ladder along. The Reach nozzle means I can reach the centre of the shed from the ladder. Much safer these days than either of us being up on the slippery roof. We spray the shed about 3 times a year, and it keeps it in good condition. If I could have one little improvement, it would be to have "Miss Muffet's Revenge" added to the mix, so that I can do the whole job in one go!! Thanks so much for a great product.

We've used this multiple times and it does work. Like most it's quite slow acting a d can take a few months to see lichen drop off. Not sure for moss and mould. Best to wear goggles hard to use without getting it on you and in eyes and it stings a lot. I do find it a bit expensive would only buy on sale

I recently purchased your Tiger's Paw & Shower Witch to really clean my daughter's bathroom before her house goes on the market. I've been looking for help to kill the weeds between the cobblestones in my court yard and the pesky ones that come up in my riverstone garden, without having to worry about my cat. This stuff is amazing. Weeds were gone in 2 hours and I could not be happier. I bought the concentrate and a sprayer so I can zap those weeds whenever they pop up with little effort. As an older person it's great to be able to spot spray without bending down. Very easy to mix as well so what's not to like. Already I have recommended to my neighbour and family. A must product in the garden shed!

Product works well on pine decks, only requiring medium scrubbing with the long handled brush. However with hardwood decks such as our purple heart deck it does require A LOT of scrubbing. Had to get knee pads and scrubbed on all fours for half a day with a hand held brush. I think I expected it to be easier to be honest but still happy with the outcome.

I just purchased this today and came straight home to try it out. This really is as good as it says and so easy to use. Hardly any pressure applied and my shower doors are like new. Well worth purchasing!!!!!

Amazing stuff! Extremely easy to clean the windows with a quick spray, wipe and rinse. No hard scrubbing is needed. My husband and I got out windows done on our 100m2 house in about 15 minutes. Used with the extending window cleaning pole, this stuff makes window cleaning a breeze.

It is el supremo at dissolving kitchen grease. Even stuff jif just gets bogged down in, gets dissolved in an instant. I was amazed at even on walls a light spray and wipe with a handy towel already damp with shower witch did the trick. We had some baskets that sit on top of the pantry ( for recipe books) that were pretty grimy, so I took them outside to them a good soaking. After a 10 min hose off , they were like new. I'm amazed. Cannot recommend this product highly enough. Have a young cat (super stressed following the sudden passing of his cuddle buddy) indiscriminately urinating outside his litter tray. Have cleaned, vinegared & tried every product available (including heavy duty commercial enzyme cleaners). Nothing has worked. We were at our wits end and at the stage of carpet replacement when we spotted this product on a TV ad. Arrived within 48 hours of ordering and LOVE it! One application & the pong has definitely gone! If you have pets, you have to have this in your cleaning cupboard! Thankyou Wet & Forget for another amazing product!

Not going to lie, I was dubious that something could really do the job of removing pet smells, feel like I’ve tried everything on the market, but most things just mask the smell, not fix it! Sprayed this as soon as I got it on my carpet where my dog is guilty of reoffending.. got home from work the next day and went to the offending corner for a sniff…. And it’s less than half as offensive! Can’t wait to sniff that corner tomorrow (and that maybe the weirdest thing I’ve ever said on the internet) Highly recommend!!!

Frequently Asked Questions about Rapid Application: Moss & Algae Remover

Can I use it on a painted roof?

Absolutely. It is non-acidic and bleach-free, so it won't strip your paint or damage the surface. It is safe for tile, decramastic, coloursteel, and concrete roofs.

Do I need to scrub?

Nope! The only time you might need to lift a finger is if you have heavy yellow lichen. It can be stubborn, so giving it a light brush after application helps the formula penetrate the crust. Otherwise, just apply & relax.

What is the difference between this and the Blue bottle?

The formula inside is very similar, but the Rapid Application (Pink) bottle comes with the specialised hose-end nozzle for fast application on large areas. The Original (Blue) bottle is a concentrate that you mix yourself in a garden sprayer for more precise application.

Is it safe for my pets?

Yes. Keep your furry friends off the treated area while it is wet. Once the surface is completely dry, it is safe for them to walk and play on.

How long does it take to see results?

"Rapid" refers to the application speed, not the cleaning speed! For green algae, you might see results in a few days. For black mould or heavy lichen, it can take a few months for the weather to flush the debris away. Trust the process, it's working!
