How to Use Chopper Weed: Weedkiller for Best Results

Gear Up for the Strike

Ensure you are wearing gloves and eye protection.

Prep the Mix

Mix 10ml of Chopper Weed per 1L of water in a pressure sprayer for general weed control. For tougher weeds, increase the ratio as per the label instructions.

Drench the Leaves

Coat the leaves of the targeted weeds thoroughly. For maximum absorption, apply when the weeds are actively growing and have plenty of leaf surface area.

Let the Formula Hunt

Leave the area undisturbed. Do not mow or pull the weeds for at least 7 days to allow the formula to travel down to the root system.

A Helpful Tip From Our Experts

As this is a non-selective killer, it will affect any green plant it touches. If you are treating weeds near prized garden plants or your lawn, use a cardboard shield to prevent overspray.

For the best results, apply on a calm, still day when no rain is expected for at least 6 hours. Applying in the morning after the dew has evaporated ensures the product stays on the leaf and doesn't run off.

Product works well on pine decks, only requiring medium scrubbing with the long handled brush. However with hardwood decks such as our purple heart deck it does require A LOT of scrubbing.
