Why Do You Need to Clean Windows Regularly?

Here are the 5 most common mistakes that result in streaky windows.
Mistake #1: Choosing a sunny day to clean your windows.
Window cleaning in the heat of the day will dry Window Witch onto the hot windows before you get to wash it off, leaving hard-to-remove streaks. If the weather won't cooperate, wait for a better day or start on the shady side of the house.
Mistake #2: Spraying Window Witch on top of heavy dirt and dust.
Before you get started, sweep dirt from the window frame with a brush, or use a vaccuum. Hose down with just water if it is seriously bad. This will also prevent gritty dirt getting on your microfibre pad which could then easily scratch windows.
Mistake #3: Skimping on window cleaner.
Don't hold back on the spray, especially if your windows look extra dirty. You need plenty of Window Witch cleaner to dissolve and suspend the dirt so it can be completely washed away.
Mistake #4: Spraying all your windows at once.
Just clean a section at a time – to avoid any drying of the Window Witch on the window. Divide the job up and do groups of windows. Soap. Agitate. Wash Off!
Mistake #5 is the most common: Not washing down the soap suds totally.
It is critical that you wash all the soap suds off. So, after you have soaped the windows up with Window Witch and then lightly agitated the grime off with one of Wet & Forget’s extendable microfibre poles, wash well above your soap line and to the sides of the soap line, by working your way down from top to bottom. If you don’t do this properly you will be left with streaks or spotting as the residue drips downwards - which is totally because of improper cleaning.
How to Clean Inside Windows:Start by removing dust from the window frame, tracks and sill with a vacuum, duster or cloth. Do the same with your blinds or shades. If you have curtains, this is a good time to remove and wash them, following the care instructions.
Spray your windows with a generous amount of Wet & Forget’s glass cleaner called,

Using a lint-free paper towel or microfibre cloth, wipe your windows from top to bottom. If you see any streaks, give them another wipe until the glass is clear.
