Product works well on pine decks, only requiring medium scrubbing with the long handled brush. However with hardwood decks such as our purple heart deck it does require A LOT of scrubbing. Had to get knee pads and scrubbed on all fours for half a day with a hand held brush. I think I expected it to be easier to be honest but still happy with the outcome.

Just want you to know that your Hit The Deck product really works. I bought a house which was built in the 70s, two years ago. I don't think the deck was ever maintained. I applied HTD and used a buffing machine to get rid of most of the mould. Then I used a brush with short bristles to get rid of the remaining stubborn stains. It took me a few hours, but look at the results.

thought I'd give it a go as we were about to paint the fence after 30 years, as was not sure if it would work? REALLY IMPRESSED!!!!!!!, now looks like a new fence, totally cleaned, ready for painting, I would confess I should of read the instructions properly, but got there in the end and brought another bucket of "Hit The Deck" just in case, well worth the Money :) Really happy.

An incredible product. I have a deck which has looked old and black and seen better days . It was like it when I purchased the property 5 years ago . The boxed steps leading to the backyard from the deck looked so black and horrible that all in all I decided the only option was to replace the deck and had quotes from 7 -10k to replace all boards and build new steps. I saw the add on the internett for Hit the Deck so went into the Wet and Forget Store to purchase the product along with the recommended long handle bristle brush . I cannot believe the results !! Absolutely incredible and true to your advertisements of before and after. I cannot stop looking at my ' new ' deck 😀 . I now don't need to spend 7 -10 k !! 😀😃 as Hit the Deck uncovered beautiful timber which had been covered over in black mould ..at least 5 years or more of black mould all gone ! Oh my gosh "Hit the Deck" is an AWESOME product! I'm so annoyed I didn't take a before pic of our deck (to be honest, I didn't think the product would actually do what it says it does, our deck was really bad, black with mould and mildew, over 10+ years of being neglected) but it did, and WOW looks like a new deck! Can't wait to stain it up now and get ready for summer :) Thanks guys for making such an awesome product, at a really good price too

Before using I thought it would be an half decent result as I had oiled our brand new deck with boiled linseed oil last year not realising this was a big no no. It was tacky for weeks so everything stuck to it. Hit the deck took it all off with very little scrubbing effort. I did use a scrubbing brush after the broom though to get it all.

There's a bit of work involved with scrubbing, but the results in a very old mouldy deck are better than I ever could have expected! A great product that works like no other.

Have had this tub of Hit the Deck for a couple of years now, with the intention of giving our deck a proper clean, but always ended up just waterblasting the deck as a shortcut, with decidedly average results. I have finally busted out this cleaning product and I wish I had done it two years ago!
I'm only halfway through (just doing what I can in the dry weather breaks) but wow, what a difference! I intend to give it a second go over to really bring it up; and the next move will be a coating of Bone Dry to save my beautiful new results. Stoked with this product - I highly recommend.

Hi our deck had light mould staining plus the deck stain had deteriorated after only about three years since new . So went to our Pukekohe store and got a tub of Hit The Deck and also got the hard bristle broom as well , a must have ! The deck has been brought back to as new , I keep going out and looking at it can't believe how good it has come up ,its come back way better than I could have hoped . Hard to beat this product 10 out of 10 !

I'm amazed how great our old timber stairs look after using this product. It dissolves the black mould and dirt into a sludge that can be rinsed away. The wood underneath looks like new. I gave it a lot of scrubbing with a hand brush (due to awkward corners on stairs) but the results were worth the hard work. I'm really pleased.

I was amazed by the results after using Hit the Deck and it was worth paying the extra for a great quality product ! Following winter my deck was grimy, slippery and green but the Hit the Deck has made such a difference and it looks like new. You do need to follow the instructions and make sure the powder is dissolved and it takes a bit of work with the scrubbing brush but is definitely worth it for the results .
