Legendary Moss & Mould Removal for Roofs, Paths & Driveways

Whether you’re tackling a slippery driveway, a green timber deck, a moss-covered roof, Shade sails, trampoline net, pavers, green slippery decking or fences, Rapid Application is your legendary exterior cleaning sidekick. Featuring our innovative nozzle that reaches up to 8 metres, you can coat up to 100m² in just 5 minutes with your feet planted safely on the ground.

This non-caustic, bleach-free formula is designed to work entirely without scrubbing. Over time, natural weathering from the rain and wind will gently break down the biological growth, naturally washing away the moss, mould, and lichen to reveal a pristine surface. It’s the ultimate way to achieve maximum clean & minimum effort on your outdoor surfaces.

How to use Rapid Application: Moss & Algae Remover

Prep The Garden

Before you start, thoroughly water any plants or lawn near the area you are treating. This protects them from any accidental drift.

Set Up Your Spray

Attach your garden hose to the Reach Nozzle. The "OFF" setting is clearly marked. Turn the dial to "WATER" to check your connection, then turn to "ON" to start mixing the formula.

Coat The Surface

Apply the product to a dry surface until it is thoroughly saturated. Fan Setting: Best for wide, flat areas like driveways, decks, and tennis courts. Jet Setting: Best for high spots like roofs, eaves, or second-storey cladding.

Let Nature Work

Once you have finished, simply leave it! The wind and rain will work with the formula to clean the surface over time. Important: Don't forget to give your plants one last watering to rinse off any overspray.

A Helpful Tip From Our Experts

We call it "Rapid" Application because it is incredibly fast to apply (10 minutes vs. 5 hours with a standard sprayer). However, the results take time! This is a slow-acting formula that works with the wind and rain to gently clean the surface over weeks and months. Be patient, all good things take time! Rapid Results will last, and one application is enough to work really hard for you for an entire year.

For Lichen, return 15 minutes after your first application and coat the area again while it is still wet. This "double-soak" ensures the product penetrates the tough outer shell of the lichen to reach the living biology underneath.

Precautions

  • You must water nearby plants thoroughly before applying (to create a barrier) and after applying (to rinse away any overspray).
  • If you are on tank water, disconnect the water supply to your tank for at least 36mls of rain or 6 decent rainfalls before reconnecting.
  • While it is safe for almost all outdoor surfaces, if you have new concrete or pavers, check that they are fully cured before application.
  • Use eye protection and rubber gloves when using the product, and always refer to the product label for safety directions.

I used Wet & Forget Rapid on the house roof, moss and Lichen have turned white already. I recently cleaned the exterior plaster walls of the house with detergent based product, as I could not reach one high part with a brush extension I tried Wet & Forget Rapid on that section, very pleased with results, even after a couple of days.

We are long term users of Wet and Forget around our lifestyle property. One of the main jobs is keeping our 6000 sq ft steel shed free of moss, algae, and lichen. For some years we used the original Wet and Forget in a spray pack, with husband on the roof spraying, and me on the ground pumping the mix up to him through the 30ft extension. Several times divorce was close. Then I discovered the Rapid Spray version. What used to take us a good few hours and two people, was reduced to one person, a hose and a ladder, and probably around 2 hours total - much of the time spent moving the ladder along. The Reach nozzle means I can reach the centre of the shed from the ladder. Much safer these days than either of us being up on the slippery roof. We spray the shed about 3 times a year, and it keeps it in good condition. If I could have one little improvement, it would be to have "Miss Muffet's Revenge" added to the mix, so that I can do the whole job in one go!! Thanks so much for a great product.

I've used this product twice, the first time I thought I'd wait and see if it worked. I didn't. The second time I sprayed a mossy walkway and a balcony. 6 months later nothing changed. I bought a product from a hard ware shop for $39 and it completely made the moss and slime disappear in 2 months.

We've used this multiple times and it does work. Like most it's quite slow acting a d can take a few months to see lichen drop off. Not sure for moss and mould. Best to wear goggles hard to use without getting it on you and in eyes and it stings a lot. I do find it a bit expensive would only buy on sale

Kept the cat indoors but it residue left behind from the drift caused mouth burns and emergency vet care required once cat licked his paws.

Love using this to keep the house clean on the outside Easy to apply and all done

This is a great and effective product but purchasing smaller quantities proves to be very expensive when compared to other similar products. Maybe when sales come up in future decent discounts on 2 pks ( over and above every day prices) could be offered. As we dont have an outlet near to us we have to add postage to the cost.

Product works great and does what it is meant to. However I bought a bottle, and noticed it was leaking. I thought it was a one off thing, so i bought another, and found it is leaking also. Good thing when I bought the second one I placed it in a plastic container.
